  • Polar exploration is perceived as an environmentally aware, competitive and healthy sport, characterised by its tough, self-reliant and courageous team players

  • Sir Ranulph Fiennes is our Patron. i-catching movies, the founders of whom produced coverage of the Volvo Ocean Race series, are already filming the documentary of the expedition. Sky Sports presenter Alec Wilkinson is the voice behind the documentary
  • Speedy Hire recognise the global appeal of Scott and polar exploration and will use our expedition to reach new markets and reinforce their position in current markets
  • We will provide a product showcase for British trade and commerce in the world’s most extreme environment, demonstrating dedication to quality and superior British innovation. All products will receive full product testing reports, endorsements and in-use images.

Website and equipment branding

Fortnum and Mason, our initiating partner are supporting the record attempt providing the expedition food, PR, marketing and event support and a world famous F&M hamper to meet us at the South Pole. All further sponsors’ branding will appear on this website, and will be included in this supporters section.

There will be Supporters’ branding on clothes, hats, tents and pulks to maximise visual media opportunities and exposure for both training events and the race.
Supporters’ flags will be carried to the Pole and you will receive unique images from Antarctica and at the South Pole.

Company Development
The Best of British ice team is available for conferences, client engagement events, after dinner speeches and other corporate events throughout the build up and following the event.
